A booklet I created for the assignment 2 practicals of Unit 4: Health, Wellbeing and Fitness for Esports players. This could be printed out and given to the students to evidence the criteria below and/or also be used as a teaching reosurce. Saves lots of time and encourages students to get to the gym for good ol’ fashioned pen and paper. Electronic copy can also be used and completed on the computer for students who struggle to write and are better at typing. This work booklet covers the following assessment criteria: C.P4 Explain the suitability of different methods of assessing an esports player’s health and wellbeing. C.M3 Analyse the validity and reliability of the selected methods of assessing an esports player’s health and wellbeing. D.P5 Conduct a physical and wellbeing screening on an esports player. D.P6 Feedback the results of health and wellbeing screening to an esports player in an effective manner, describing strengths and areas for improvement. D.M4 Analyse the strengths and areas for improvement, using information from the esports player’s health and wellbeing screening. CD.D3 Evaluate the health and wellbeing of an esports player, providing strategies to improve health status.

A booklet i have created for the pearsons level 3 BTEC in Esports for the unit 3: Enterprise and Entrepreneurship in the Esports industry. This is for the assignment 2 business plan task only This does not cover the presentation part that follows after this business plan. **From what i have read on the specifications, my interpretation is that students who are not going for Merit or higher do not need to attempt the financial forecast section that is featured on the cover picture for this. The rest they need to do. ** Should evidence towards the following criteria; 3/C.D3 Prepare a comprehensive business plan for an esports enterprise idea supported by realistic financial forecasts 3/C.M3 Prepare a detailed, well-structured, realistic business plan for an esports enterprise idea, giving detailed reasons for choice of idea supported by financial forecasts. 3/C.P5 Produce a realistic business plan for an esports enterprise idea giving reasons for choice of final idea. 3/C.P6 Produce a realistic executive summary for an esports enterprise idea. I worked very hard on structuring this to cover assignment 2 for the business plan portion. My students work was EV’d in the 23/24 academic year for this unit and i had all positive feedback from the EV regarding this unit with no changes to make. I think this should speak for itself. I will include completed two exemplar pieces with the learner names redacted so you can see how this can be completed for a pass and merit student.

Ideal if you need to write a UCAS statement at the last minute when your students are late with processing their applications. This program has some pre-selected courses and uses the he/she pronouns. You can also alter the generated output to suit your learners. A must try!

Some of my resources i have used in lesson. I have spent around 3 months building this in my own time. This is for the Unit 6: software development for BTEC level 3 in computing, however could be used in teaching the fundementals of Software development and basic to intermediate programming in C# Please be aware that the examples are based around C#, so ensure you have miscrosoft Visual studio 2017 installed at your institutions. Week 7 and week 8 lessons are a bit rushed and therefore i have charged £5 for the lot, which i believe is very reasonable; This includes embedded quizes (linked to my pre-made quiz’s, worksheets, detailed lesson plans, powerpoints, instructions as to what you need to bring for each lesson and also a scheme of work. Week-0-Introduction to software development Week-1-Programming paradigms (Event driven, OOP and Procedural) Week-2-Factors influencing the choice of programming languages Week-3-Sequence, selection and Iteration in C# Week-4-Data types and Memory management in C# Week-5-Quality of code in C# Week-6-Software development life cycle Week-7-Software structures Week-8-Algorithms in programming

Computer games design lesson (ideal for observations) - Simple, easy and student centered.

This is a lesson I created for an observation a while ago and it went down very well. This lesson focuses on students looking briefly at a basic game of Tic tac toe. The students are then paired into groups and tasked with changing 3 rules of tic tac toe and after they have done so, they are to present their findings to the grou, where the group can feedback with questions. The objectives of the lesson is to teach the learners that small changes to game rules and mechanics can have big impacts on the games themselves. This lesson is fun and involving and includes an interactive powerpoint sand timer! I recommend that you give the learners working in groups, A3 paper and pens for the activity! This is only 5 slides long and expect it to take 1hr long including the activity.
