<p>KS2 Art planning, slides and resources for a unit of work on roman mosaics. I have successfully used this planning with LKS2 as well as UKS2. I have used this with both tiles on clay as well as cut out paper tiles on paper.</p>

<p>Three weeks unit plan that starts off by looking at diary entries from the main characters before asking the children to apply these skills to writing a diary entry from the perspective of one of the famous characters (traditional stories). This unit comes with practice EGPS starters, resources, model texts as well as planning sheets.</p>

<p>This unit of work was taught as part of the cross curriculum topic, linked to Anglo-Saxons. The children studied Kandinsky as an artist before exploring the different palettes, creating their own Anglo-Saxon inspired helmets in style of Kandinsky using their chosen palette. <p>A full plan, slides, resources and LKS2 specific starter activities for a non-chronological information text on spiders. Children produced amazing end of week posters/double spreads based on this meeting the LKS2 writing expectations. Slides are interactive and come with differentiated resources. End goal is for children to research and complete their own independent report on their chosen spider type. Resources include research packs for children should they not have access to ipads or computers. A one off lesson on Viking inspired kenning at the end of the week.</p>

<p>Detailed planning following DT process to create a suitable packaging for Anglo Saxon biscuits. I have successfully used this planning in LKS2 but can be adapted for UKS2 too. The planning comes with very detailed slides (showing step by step instructions) as well as differentiated resources from start to finish. This unit was taught over 6 - 7 weeks, one lesson per week and was part of the thematic topic on Anglo-Saxons.</p>

<p>A unit of DT work where the children design and create an Anderson Shelter whilst studying the WW2 period in History. They will explore the different pulley systems before deciding how to use/incorporate it within their own shelters i.e. they may create a well with a pulley system to draw water, a pulley operated door or a blind for the window etc. This product includes the following:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Cover Page</strong> with the objectives set out for the units to assess the work against.</li> <li>Detailed Planning with the intent and outcome clearly defined</li> <li>prompt sheets, tasks as well as some completed examples for the teachers to refer to</li> </ul>
