A PPT and a reading activity about sexism in Hispanic countries. Students will discuss first some pictures about “micromachismos”, a type of sexism which is not very obvious and accepted by society. Students will discuss and compare the different types of sexism that they encounter in their daily life. The students will then read an article about this type of sexism which still exists in Spain and they will learn about real cases.
These resources are for students to practice speaking and reading skills as well as learning more facts about the Spanish society and reflect on social issues such as sexism and chauvinism.
