This is the second lesson in a sequence of lessons on Apartheid. It is aimed at S3/Year 9. This lesson looks at the early forms of segregation in South Africa prior to the establishment of apartheid policy. Students will learn about four laws which helped create segregation and must then evaluate these policies.

This lesson also introduces a Scottish National 5 skill of the 'How Fully' Source question to prepare students for entering senior school the following year.

Note: All funds raised from proceeds of these resource sales will be going towards covering costs of my placement with GLP Scotland in summer 2018 where I will be travelling to Rwanda to work alongside Rwandan educators to improve educational opportunities in Rwanda!
