These are Chord Progression Bingo Cards complete with audio for Music lessons. The pack comes with 16 unique bingo cards, 16 audio files and a blank template card.
This is a great ear training activity particularly for KS4 and KS5 classes when students are learning about chords, chord progressions and cadences. Each chord progression has a pattern of 5 chords based around chord I (C major), chord IV (F Major) and Chord V (G Major). Each chord progression starts with chord I to give students a reference point. You can make the activity easier or more difficult by allowing more or less playings of each recording.
I print these off and get students to work in pairs. Play the chord progression audio clips at random and students have to work out which chord progression is being played. Make your own rules to play. Simply laminate the cards to make them last.
You can make the activity easier or more difficult by allowing more or less playings of each recording.
As a performance activity you can get students to perform the music before they hear it and students can compose their own bingo card with the blank template in the pack.
Any feedback would be greatly received. Let me know how you got on with it and I welcome any suggestions for improvements.
