Colours, clothes and going shopping

This resource contains 26 slides with various activities and their solutions, including 2 listening tasks. They can take up to 3 hour lessons, depending on the level of your class.

The main outcomes are: to learn vocabulary related to colours and clothes; to learn and practise phrases related to going shopping; to practise determinate and indeterminate articles; to use demonstrative pronouns (este, esta…).

The tasks are visually engaging and interactive. They lend themselves well to pair or group work, both in person and online. The teacher may use the visual aids and text boxes in each slide to modify the tasks, add new instructions or include extra verbal cues, as they see fit.
