This is a 23-slide PowerPoint which covers the entire LEARNING AIM D of Unit 7 - BUSINESS DECISION MAKING.

There are 8 Learning Aims in total and are covered in 8 separate PowerPoints, making it easier to put together a teaching programme for the whole Unit.

Quality Issues

This section focuses on maintaining and improving the quality of products and services. It includes:

Quality Control: Monitoring processes to ensure product quality, such as checking apples for blemishes.
Quality Assurance: Planned checks to maintain confidence in business processes and outputs.
Benchmarking: Measuring standards against expected outcomes, using reliable sources like government data.
Quality Circles: Involving employees in problem-solving and quality assurance.
Inspection: Ensuring employees meet service standards set by the business.
ISO 9000: Internationally recognized standards for quality management and assurance.
Total Quality Management: Involving the whole company in evaluating and improving business practices.

The presentation also includes an activity section with a video on quality and questions to engage the audience.
