A new range of materials aimed at supporting teachers of the Edexcel GCSE (9-1) in Business. This presentation is designed to cover the topic of promotion and its role in the marketing mix. It considers the impact of promotional strategies such as advertising, product trials, special offers, branding and sponsorship upon a business. It then examines how technology has brought about changes in promotional activities with a look at e-newsletters, targeted online advertising and viral advertising via social media.
