PSHE Lesson resource on the issues of forced marriage and honour based abuse. The lesson considers what a marriage is and the difference between arranged and forced marriage before looking at the warning signs and consequences of forced marriage and honour based abuse. The lesson then goes on to inform pupils of what they should do if they are concerned about these issues and provides a scenario task for pupils to demonstrate their learning. This lesson is also available in a shorter form time resource here.
This is an easy to follow power point lesson (no prior planning, printing or preparation required). The resource is designed to be delivered as one 60 minute lesson but all of our resources are fully editable and designed to allow sections to be added, removed or changed should you need to do so.
