A distance-learning scheme of work designed to operate with minimal teacher input, allowing schools to run a creative competition about the Spanish poet.
The scheme is designed to work remotely and takes students through the study of his life, his inspiration, his work and his death, as well as on a virtual trip to Granada, his home city, and through a small supplementary chapter on rhyme in Spanish.
It includes work for all four principal skills - including some authentic listening resources - and has a choice of three tasks at the end so students can use their language creatively.
I am releasing this for free to support colleagues during the first few weeks of what will doubtless be a challenging new academic year - feel free to use and adapt (I have marked where teachers will need to replace blank spaces with their own name/email/school name) but would appreciate credit on social media where teachers share their versions/the results.
