• This teaching resource explains the work of Dr Sanjay Banerjee of the University of Alberta in Canada who is researching how businesses are responding to the threat of climate change.
• This resource also contains an interview with Sanjay, providing an insight into careers in accounting research.
• The activity sheet provides ‘talking points’ (based on Bloom’s Taxonomy) to prompt students to reflect on Sanjay’s research, and tasks them to create a presentation to advise company directors to begin climate disclosure.
• The PowerPoint reiterates the key points in the article and includes further talking points to encourage students to reflect on their own skills and aspirations.
