This resource comprises a 60 question knowledge test based on the key information of the Treaty of Versailles CIE IGCSE Chapter 1 content for the new 2024 onwards new specification. (It also covers the key content of the British GCSE curriculum too).

The test is broken down into the 6 segments outlined below and could be used all together as a single summative assessment or a fun team based quiz at the end of the topic. Alternatively the test could be delivered as 6 mini checkpoints throughout the course either as a starter, plenary or homework task.

Section A: Aims of the Big Three (10 questions)
Section B: What Did the Big Three Disagree on? (10 questions)
Section C: Terms of the Treaty of Versailles (10 questions)
Section D: German Reactions to the Terms of the Treaty (10 questions)
Section E: Consequences of the Treaty for Germany (10 questions)
Section F: How was the Treaty regarded at the time? (5 questions)
Section G: How did opinions change on whether the Treaty could be justified? (5 questions)

Great for revisiting at the end of Paper 1 during the revision period or incorporating into a study pack when students go on study leave.

This resource also comes with a full and detailed answer sheet to speed up marking, or for students to self assess with.
