This is a set of two internet safety assemblies - one for KS1 and one for KS2. They each provide a general background to e-safety, including identifying important online safety rules and why we should always try to follow them. There is also then an opportunity for an independent task linked to these topics.
The PowerPoint can be used for a class, year group or whole school assembly, focusing on safe use of the internet and creating a set of useful online rules. It is an ideal resource for Safer Internet Day.
Alternatively, the PowerPoint can be used in class for an internet safety lesson, as there is also an independent task and full planning provided.
Please note: some video links are included in the sessions, which should always be assessed for suitability prior to use!
Includes:
*Assembly/teaching PowerPoint (Years 1-3)
*Assembly/teaching PowerPoint (Years 4-6)
*Full lesson planning for both age groups
