KS1 History: Old and New Technology

A KS1 history lesson which defines the words old and new to children and looks at old and new technologies. This History unit will look at different aspects of life that technology has developed and changed so it is key for children to have a clear idea of old and new. Old being something from the past and new being something from the present time or era.

This resource is a powerpoint presentation which discusses old and new objects and is best utilised if there are objects that can be touched and investigated in the classroom. If not, there are photos provided for this discussion at the start of the lesson.

How I use this resource: This resource is a powerpoint which is shared at the front of the class with the children. The worksheet can be completed in small groups or completed whole class.
