This unit was planned for a mixed ability Year 4 class but could be adapted to suit Year 3 to Year 5. I received excellent feedback from observations for these lessons and they ended up being used across lower key stage 2 classes. Most of the lessons are quite practical and enquiry-based. In terms of the flipchart, I have used the Bitstrips app to engage children.
