This unit aims to equip learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively plan, execute, and promote an enterprise activity. By the end of this unit, learners will be able to plan an enterprise activity, understanding the fundamental components of planning an enterprise activity, including setting objectives, identifying resources, and deciding on a time scale for the project. Learners will be able to understand the cost of producing the product or service and what price(s) to charge, learning how to calculate the costs associated with producing a product or providing a service, including material, labor and overhead expenses. Learners will then be able to produce a product or provide a service, developing their practical skills necessary for producing high-quality products or delivering exceptional services, adhering to industry standards and customer expectations. Finally, learners will be able to produce a poster to advertise a product or service, gaining proficiency in designing visually appealing posters to effectively communicate the benefits, and unique selling propositions of a product or service.
