  Print off the individual pages and hand them out to your music students.

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

• ONE page of TEACHER TIPS describing ways the sheets can be used with your classes/students
• TWO x two-page music background information gathering sheets for the beginning of a new year/term.

The two student information sheets are excellent for:

1. Finding out what musical background/experiences your students possess
2. Using as a get to know you activity – where students share 2-3 points about their music experiences to the whole class or another student in the class.
3. Introducing your “musical” self to the students - tell them your musical background and experiences!
4. Gaining an insight into each students’ literacy level by how well they complete the information
5. Keeping a copy and revisiting as an End of Year activity for students to evaluate what they have achieved throughout the year and assess how their musical experiences have grown/changed!

PLEASE NOTE: N.B. Both North American and British spelling catered for in this resource. Pages 5 and 6 are repeated using the British spelling ‘favourite’
