This can be adapted and I myself have adapted it. My suggested order of teaching is:
1. Introduction to sociology
2. Research methods
3. Education
4. Family
5. Crime and deviance
6. Social stratification
I would teach 1 -4 in Y10 and 5 and 6 in Y11, this will leave a remaining term for revision. Please note 1 and 2 need to be taught first as all of the other units have both of these units embedded within them.
If you are delivering the course over three years, you might want to teach in the following order:
1, 2 and 4 in Y9
3, 5 and 6 in Y10
Revision of all units in Y11
