Preterit imperfect original sentences (no collaboration / no on-line translators)

Length: 2 pages

Write original sentences in the preterit and imperfect by choosing a clue word (preterit and imperfect) from column A, and a subject / verb conjugation from column B and add 5-6 words to expand on the sentence. You will write 12 sentences in the preterit tense and 8 sentences in the imperfect tense. Use the template on the next page to write your sentences.

Verbs included:

Preterit: hablar, hacer, ir, escribir, dar, ver, despertarse, buscar, empezar, almorzar, recibir, leer (12 total)

Imperfect: ser, ir, ver, vivir, comer, acostarse, jugar, correr (8 total)

Two templates (preterit and imperfect) are provided for students to write their sentences.
