Spanish School Subjects

A Spanish lesson on the topic of school subjects.

Lesson includes:

1. How to say eight main school subjects in Spanish.

3. Saying what subjects you like/dislike
4. Saying why you like/dislike the school subject

The lesson is on Microsoft PowerPoint and includes a print out of the school subjects in Spanish and English.

Games to play when pictures of newly learned vocabulary are all on a slide:

Teacher vs Students. (Teacher points to the picture and say it in Spanish and students repeat. However, if the teacher points at a picture but says the WRONG word, students must stay silent. If students do not repeat they receive a point but if they do repeat, the teacher gets the point).

Tap the board. (Two students stand at the board with all the new vocabulary (pictures) on the slide. Another student says one of the things on the board in Spanish. First person to point to it wins and stays on, the loser switches with the person who said the Spanish word).
