We usually set the cards on a table, so that students can see the timeline clearly. I frequently use a timer when we play. Playing in teams, using either a single challenge, or with both challenges together, is really popular - students find the competitive element really motivating and are genuinely keen to see which team can finish first, and whether they can beat their own time record.
