This booklet contains 11 worksheets on the key verbs required for GCSE success and answer sheets. The worksheets can also be used with KS3 students or for recapping with post-16 students. There are 5 worksheets focusing specifically on tener, estar and ser in the present tense, but there are also sheets on regular and irregular verbs in the present, preterite, imperfect, conditional , future and subjunctive tenses as well.
The worksheets requires student to read an explanation of when tenses are used and how verbs are conjugated in the different tenses, research specific verbs as a model to follow and then conjugate additional verbs on the sheet. There is a task which involves translating some key verbs. An additional extension task would be to put additional verbs that follow the same pattern on the board and ask students to apply their knowledge to these other verbs whilst working in pairs, maybe on mini whiteboards.
