Spanish Weather Skit / Role Play / Pair Work - Hace Tanto Calor - This is a 2-person skit between 2 friends discussing what they can do in the hot weather. Each person has 5 lines. They agree that it's very hot, and decide to go for ice cream for a little relief. Constructions and phrases used are: tienes hambre, ir a, no lo sé, a qué temperatura estamos, es verdad, quieres ir, vámonos, and more. It's short enough for students to memorize in a day or 2 of practice and utilizes useful, everyday language. It's also a great activity for a substitute teacher lesson. Included: 1.
