Stem change present tense practice worksheet

Practice: Stem change verbs (e-ie, o-ue, u-ue, e-i) present tense

For each stem change except u-ue, the worksheet is structured in the following way.

Part 1: Complete each sentence by writing the stem change in the first blank and the appropriate verb ending in the second blank. If the subject of the sentence is nosotros or vosotros, write the verb ending only. Note: For every fill in the blank, a different stem change verb is used.

Example:

1. Yo p____ ns ____ en el fin de semana. (pensar)

Part 2: Conjugate 3 verbs for all persons in the present tense in the table provided.

Pages 1 -2 : e-ie stem change verbs: 11 fill in the blanks, conjugate 3 verbs for all persons

For jugar (u-ue), complete the two fill in the blanks and conjugate jugar for all 6 persons.
