Subject and verb practice (Spanish)

For each infinitive:

  1. Write the subject (person) and the subject pronoun (where needed).

  2. Write the stem and the appropriate verb ending.

  • A structured template is provided.

There are 30 infinitives total (10 -ar, 10 -er, 10 -ir). Only regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs are used.

Example: Yo / charlar: subject (yo), stem (charl), verb ending (o)

Pages 1-5 are the practice and pages 6-10 are the answer key.

Notes on subject pronouns with English translation (Ex: Yo = I) and -ar, -er, -ir verb endings are provided.

This practice is ideal for students in Spanish 1. This practice can be used for classwork, homework, review, study guide, quiz, entry or exit slip (broken up into sections).
