Tener que infinitive original sentence worksheet

This is an open ended worksheet to practice writing original sentences using tener que + infinitive

Complete each sentence using the following guidelines:

1. For the conjugation of tener, write the correct stem change (e-ie) in the first blank, where needed and write the correct verb ending in the second blank

2. After the “que”, choose any infinitive (-ar, -er, -ir) from the word bank below.

3. In the last blank add 3-4 words to expand on the sentence.

Students will write a total of 12 sentences. A list of 15 infinitives (5-ar, 5-er, 5 -ir) are provided with their English translation.
