This Tudor lesson investigates the importance of studying the royal palaces of Henry VIII. Students will study royal palaces such as St James Palace, Beaulieu Palace, Nonsuch Palace, Hampton Court Palace and the Field of the Cloth of Gold, in order to look at what they tell us about Tudor times.
This download includes a fully editable powerpoint with all activities, instructions, clip links and worksheets/information sheets you need. It is differentiated 2/3 ways where possible with scaffolding and challenge options and is fully planned with plenty of activities for your students to complete including a starter, individual thinking tasks, information sheets with a table and tasks to complete, a diamond 9 activity, a consolidation explain written question and a plenary.
Activities are planned to encourage thinking and discussion.
