Verb and subject practice (Spanish)

This is a practice on finding subjects and conjugating -ar, -er, -ir verbs in the present tense.

There are 30 sentences total (10 -ar, 10 - er, and 10 -ir)

For every sentence, write the subject or subject pronoun. Then, write the present tense conjugation of the verb in parenthesis.

Part 1: -ar verbs / Part 2: -er verbs / Part 3: -ir verbs

Example:

  1. Yo (hablar) con mi amigo.

Subject: __________ Verb conjugation: ______________

  1. Yo (comer) una pizza.

Subject: __________ Verb conjugation: ______________

  1. Yo (escribir) un email.

Subject: __________ Verb conjugation: ______________

Notes on subject pronouns and how to conjugate -ar, -er, -ir verbs are provided. For each part, a table with verb endings is also included.

  • Pages 1-4 are the practice and pages 5-8 are the answer key

This practice can be used in Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 classes. It can be used for classwork, homework, study guide, review, quiz, entry or exit slip (broken up into sections).
