- Causes of World War II (4 Lessons, 1-4) – The end of the First World War and the Treaty of Versailles, and the rise of Adolf Hitler and Nazism in Germany.
- Outbreak of World War II (3 Lessons, 5-7) – The start of the war and the declaration of war by the then British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain.
- World War II Timeline (1 Lesson, 8) – Research and sort key events from the whole war by creating a timeline in small groups.
- Start of the War (1 Lesson, 9) – Evacuation from Dunkirk, the Battle of Britain, and the Blitz on Britain.
- United States Enters the War (1 Lesson, 10) – The infamous attacks by the Japanese Airforce on Pearl Harbour.
- Key Allied Leaders (3 Lessons, 11-13) – A deeper look into Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin.
- The Holocaust (1 Lesson, 14) – A look at the horrific events of the Holocaust, where more than six million people were murdered.
- The End of the War (1 Lesson, 15) – VE Day and VJ Day
