This is a cross-curricular lesson developing Reading inference skills within an English lesson. This lesson is designed to be used as part of a unit of work for the David Walliam’s book World’s Worst Children, but can be used as a stand-alone Reading lesson. It encourages children to use their imagination and inference skills to draw conclusions about the characters in the book. This resource includes differentiated tasks, SEND activities, challenges and teaching slides.
