Mr Burr's Maths resources

I'm sharing resources for the maths classroom, as well as a few bits and bobs for tutor groups and clubs, and a few SEND resources to boot. I do charge a small amount for resources. I'd like to put them out for free, and one day I might. But at the moment I am a struggling teacher that needs to payrent.

Behavior Loyalty Cards

Behavior Loyalty Cards

These stamp cards are to be used with students that need a helping hand tracking their targets. Set a behaviour target with them and stamp the card each time they acheive that target, with the promise of a reward if they complete it, such as a postcard or positive call home. For some students, I will also add a failure cause. If they fail to meet the target, they have to start again. Use this at your discretion.

Some slides I put together for introducing teachers to ADHD, the effect it can have on learning, and strategies to help support ADHD in the classroom.

Road to Success

A display for “the Road to Success” I use this weekly with my tutor group to track how many house points they earn in a week. Their goal is five, and the first person to reach 5 is placed in the “First Place Winner Box”. At the end of the week, the group votes for a “Special Mention”, someone who did particularly well that week, even if they didn’t get as many house points as they would like. I have provided the road, the cars, and the winner boxes.
Year 7 Numeracy Booklet

Year 7 Numeracy Booklet

(0)
A booklet I made to support year 7 numeracy. There are 40 weeks worth of 3 tests a week. Each is 10 questions. I give my students 3 minutes to answer and 1 minute to mark. At the end of each week, you can take the students highest score and enter them into the excel sheet provided. This will allow you to track individual progress, and it will also track your classes’ weekly average. Feel free to edit and let me know what you think and if there is anything i can improve.
