About
Akhlah, the Jewish Children’s Learning Network, was created in 1998 for children and others who wish to learn about Judaism, Hebrew and Israel. Akhlah provides entry-level instructional materials in the Hebrew language, the history of Jews, Judaism and Israel. It is a recognized non-profit education organization. Akhlah.com offers a comprehensive yet non-sectarian perspective and does not subscribe to any one of the branches of Judaism, but celebrates them all. We wish to provide information about the language, traditions, history and practices of all the major branches of Judaism, for although the vagaries of geography and circumstance have spread these branches in different directions, when we look back, we share the common bonds of ancestors, history and language: these are the roots of our Tree of Life. Akhlah is free to use for educational purposes within your classroom. You are not allowed to mirror pages, graphics or parts for use on other sites without the consent of Akhlah.
