Vocab sheet on eating habits
Support sheet to help pupils create a piece of writing about their usual eating habits.
Home town paired speaking activity
Print the 3 screens on A4 card & fold as indicated. 2 pupils sit opposite each other and must try to say the English paragraph on their side of the card in French while their partner checks what they say. Cards can be swapped after a set period of time until all pupils have tried 3 different paragraphs.

N.B. Slides 3-8 - 2 pupils come to front, teacher clicks mouse, yellow box appears - first pupil to slap the right word wins. (Screen 8 - correct word missing hence HA HA picture!) I can't be the only mean teacher out there with a sense of humour! Just watch their faces!!
Screen 10 similar - 2 pupils at front, first to slap word when it appears gets to tell you what it means for a prize.
Describing your town
Keep pressing 'N' key on keyboard - ask a pupil to say 'Arrete' - stop pressing 'N'. Pupil must tell you what the phrase means.
Spinner game
Click on select to choose a pupil then let chosen pupil tap the spinner on the IWB - pupil must pronounce chosen word correctly and/or tell you what it means in English etc. Should be able to edit class list - change number of pupils then just click on the empty boxes and type in your pupils' names. Edit spinner by clicking on the double arrows on right, clicking on a segment and typing in a new word.

Vocab game
Pupil clicks on the spin wheel. Dial lands on a colour ; pupil must choose a box of same colour. Move the box to reveal a word - pupil gets sweet / point if they know what it is in English. Adaptable. More challenging if words on screen are in English, & pupil has to give French word.

GROUP / PAIR WORK on school day + time

Battleships game on personal qualities
Pupils say a sentence in French, choosing a beginning from the top row and an ending from the left. They must then say what it means in English in order for teacher to click on the square they have chosen to see if there is a battleship there! Could also make them pronounce it perfectly if you are really mean.....er....I mean if you are a really good teacher!!!!! :)
