Within the puzzle there are several hidden letters which will need to be unscrambled on the completion of the puzzle to reveal the second word. In Task 3 students will have to cut out 27 timeline task cards that cover key events of the 1400s before putting them in order from the earliest date to the most recent. When they have finished their task they can glue them onto the answer key which will reveal their third word. In Task 4 students will have to find the missing words in a wordsearch puzzle before finding a hidden word from the letters that are left over in the puzzle. This hidden word is their fourth and final word. This is a play script for William Shakespeare’s Richard III written to be suitable for ages 9-14. Richard III tells the story of Richard – a humpbacked member of the royal family who had a deep desire to be king. However, he was fifth in line to the throne with four close family members ahead of him. The play follows the story of his murderous journey to the top, and his eventual demise to Henry at the Battle of Bosworth. The play script is a mix of modern English with some of the famous lines from the real play mixed in as well. I hope you enjoy it – good luck! There are 20 speaking roles with parts for up to 30 students. The language is a mix of Shakespearean and modern English. Ideal for theater performances or plays, reading activities or guided reading sessions. A great classroom display and sorting activity that is perfect for introducing students to Anne Frank and some of the key events of World War 2. There are 42 posters or cards that include many of the key events from her life and some from the Second World War. The posters look great as a display in the classroom and the cards are a brilliant introduction to Anne Frank. The displays and cards come both with dates and without dates, so the students can research the dates online before sorting the timeline. The cards look even better when laminated. An Escape Room activity about the origins of Easter and the modern traditions around the world. Ideal for Year 5 or Year 6, the activity is perfect for group work; a great holiday activity; team-building activities; or for a fun, engaging and interactive lesson. The activity can be used in English class as it incorporates some ELA skills or in Social Studies. The activity has been split into four different tasks; your students will need to complete each of the tasks to reveal a word. Together the four words make a phrase for them to escape the room. If they answer the questions correctly they will reveal their first word. In Task 2 students will use the same informational text to complete a crossword puzzle. Within the puzzle there are several hidden letters which will need to be unscrambled on the completion of the puzzle to reveal the second word. In Task 3 students will have to cut out 27 timeline task cards about important holidays or festivals celebrated in the United States and around the world. When they have finished their task they can glue them onto the answer key which will reveal their third word. In Task 4 students will have to find the missing words in a wordsearch puzzle before finding a hidden word from the letters that are left over in the puzzle. This hidden word is their fourth and final word.
