The main or key events in 'Animal Farm' set out in boxes. This resource is intended to be copied and cut up. Students take the slips of paper out of an envelope and then put them in order. For the teachers aid, the original order is the correct order of events. A very useful method to help students to reinforce the correct order of events in the novella.

GCSE POETRY SCHEME - Conflict: 'Flag' and 'TCOT Light Brigade'

(0)
A scheme of work covering 20 lessons of study for AQA Conflict; Flag by Agard and The Charge of The Light Brigade by Tennyson. A modern poem and a pre twentieth century poem both about war. The poems are explored using FLIRT; Form (and structure), Language, Imagery, Rhythm & Rhyme Tone. Set out as a 5 letter word; FLIRT works with my visual planning HIGH FIVE (it has been suggested in some studies that male brains respond better when remembering things in fives). My detailed student booklet to accompany the scheme is also available to purchase from TES.

A 2 minute, original script written in city street slang for todays 'yout' to relate. Purchasing this script gives you the right to both study and perform. Written by Dionne Dawson.

Being not part of the National Curriculum, drama does not have it's own mark scheme at KS3. I created my own assessment scheme, the levels linked to the English NC levels. I separated my drama assessments into three areas; 1. CO-OPERATION & IDEAS 2. PERFORMANCE 3. EVALUATION These assessment sheets are colour coded for each KS3 year and is set on an A5 size for ease when mounting in a standard exercise book.

DISPLAY PACK: What is Humanity?

All you need for a display about the Syrian Conflict; called what is humanity. Images, news articles, titles and facts... all correct as of Dec2016. I have since checked (DEC 2017) and all information is still accurate and relevant today. Although some of the figures will have risen; no one is exactly sure of the figures - most believe them to be double the reported amount.
