A fully-resourced PSHCE lesson all about human trafficking and modern slavery. This has been created to fit with the new PSHE Association guidelines (all forms of abuse) but would also be useful as a Citizenship / Human Rights lesson. It lasts roughly 1 hour - 90 minutes if all tasks completed.

An assembly which focuses on why positive attitudes towards learning and good behaviour are essential in order for students to have successful futures. The assembly encourages the students to link their behaviour they display now with their future career prospects and exam results.
The assembly also explores the concept of unrealistic expectations when it comes to career prospects and emphasises why working hard at school is not only important but essential for eventual happy and fulfilled lives.
Lasts 15-20 mins if all questions asked and clip is watched.

Updated for 2019! 2 hour Citizenship GCSE lesson all about the UK’s foreign aid policy and NGOs, Aid Match and the DFiD. The lesson explores whether the UK spends too much on foreign aid and investigates the roles of organisations such as the OECD and the of the International Development Secretary. Created for AQA but could easily be used for any exam board.
The lesson includes a detailed, 2 hour PowerPoint, a detailed information pack, practice exam question with mark scheme, debate activities and clips tasks with questions and a literacy / debate focus task. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow.

Students will investigate the consequences of sleep deprivation on body and mind, how to promote excellent sleep hygiene and how exactly we benefit from a good night’s sleep. A 25 minute Tutor Time session created especially for LGBT+ Month. This is the third of six sessions to be used throughout LGBT+ month, each focusing on and exploring the culture and history of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community and challenges faced e.g, transphobia and bullying. This lesson has a focus on what it means to be gay, as well as homophobia.
The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use.

Rules and Laws KS2 PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the resource is suitable for use across KS2. In this lesson, the students will explore the concept of rules and laws. We will discuss what rules are, why we have them, and what the difference is between a rule and a law. We will discuss the consequences of failing to obey the rules at home or in the classroom, and reflect on how this differs from punishments for breaking the law. The lesson also includes an information sheet, a key term match up task, a video clip task, a set of discussion cards, and a plenary activity.

Privacy and boundaries KS2 PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. Careers and skills KS2 PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2.
