An hour-long 2024, KS3 (or could be used with KS4) lesson with a focus on eating disorders, misconceptions and links to mental health. The lesson is sensitively planned, so gives no information on how sufferers perpetuate their disorders, but clearly signposts how friends can alert authorities (teachers/guardians) appropriately if they are concerned and where we can go for further information. The lesson also shares NHS advice on how we can support people suffering from eating disorders, as well as why EDs often affect people in their teenage years. Students will complete paired tasks, literacy and clip tasks, creative tasks and more.

In this assembly, King Charles III presents British values and their importance to a less-than-interested student, Loudmouth Lewis, in an attempt to win him over.

My body belongs to me KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 1, however, the activities are also suitable for students in Year 2, and could easily be adapted for use with older students.
In this lesson, the children will learn about different kinds of touch, and the way they make us feel. We will discuss wanted and unwanted touches including kisses, cuddles, and hand-holding, as well as unkind or aggressive forms of physical contact.
The students will read Your Body Belongs to You by Cornelia Spelman, before completing a set of activities linked to the text. The students will learn the correct way to respond to unwanted touches, with a particular focus on the ‘swimwear’ unsafe touch safety rule.
The lesson includes a case study starter, a story with accompanying questions, a set of case studies, and a ‘wanted poster’ plenary task.

2 HOUR LESSON for the new PSHE Guidelines, fully-resourced PSHE lesson all about drugs and addiction - from heroin, ecstasy and crack to krokodil and DMT. The lesson investigates why these can be so harmful in both the long and short term. The pack includes a very detailed PowerPoint, 5 page drug information pack, a detailed case study of how anyone can become addicted to drugs, differentiated challenge activities, worksheets, clips and debate focus tasks. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. The slides in the preview are just a sample and don’t show the whole lesson. It is best suited for KS4 or KS5.
