These lessons have been taught in double lessons (2 hours) so may need splitting up for shorter lessons. Lesson 1+2: Intro to unit 3, examples of part A and B to introduce, introduction of the 5 key practicals, start of electricity, symbols, and a chance to make circuits. Lesson 3 + 4: Part B possible analysis questions, introduction to all the equations that could come up, a practice of Part A Jan 2019 (not included as still locked on edexcel online). Lesson 5 + 6: Part B possible graph questions, variables, errors (%) and evaluation, a practice of section 1 of Part B Jan 2019 (not included as still locked on edexcel online). Lesson 7 + 8: Part B possible section 2 questions, planning a method, a practice of section 2 of Part B Jan 2020 (not included as still locked on edecxcel online)

Newton's second law F=ma differentiated worksheet

(6)
A worksheet based on how maths teach maths concepts. Built on low demand questions just using the equation and then building in units, conversions, rearranging the equation and then gcse exam questions. Can be used for any exam board as it is common content (AQA, OCR, Edexcel). Newtons second law of motion or F=m x a
Balancing equations scaffolded worksheet differentiated

Balancing equations scaffolded worksheet differentiated

(1)
A resource that can be used from KS3 to KS4 to help with balancing equations. Scaffolded so that students work from low to high demand. Students often struggle with using symbols however find balancing legos/skittles/beads easy. A worksheet that steps up the demand from low to medium then to high. Can be used for all exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel, iGCSE) as is common content and would suit combined or separate sciences.
Electrical circuits introductory lesson
