A fully differentiated and resourced ‘ready to go’ lesson on William Wordsworth’s The Prelude, one of the poems in the AQA Power and Conflict Poetry Anthology, with the lesson ideally suited for both KS3 and KS4 students.
Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde lesson on Chapter 3. As we are introduced to the character of Dr Henry Jekyll in Chapter 3, we look at how he is portrayed to the reader, how his emotions change as Utterson tries to discuss Mr Hyde, and then we create analytical paragraphs based on strict success criteria. Ideal preparation for KS4 students getting ready for AQA English Literature Paper 1, but adaptable for KS3 as well.
