This is a resource package for teaching the New BTEC HSC Level 3, Unit 1 Human Growth and Development through Life Stages, A2 Intellectual Development and covers all that’s on the spec. This is a package for teaching the Unit 5 A1, A2 and A3 part of the spec. It consists of a Microsoft Word 32 booklet which you can add and alter to suit your teaching style. Students can make notes, complete research task and activities and have all these together as reference for when they write up their course work. It has two presentations, one is 65 slides and covers primary, secondary and tertiary health care services with applied examples. The second is 12 slides and covers Allied Health Professionals. There are starter and stretch and challenge activities if you have time. There is guidance and options for students note taking which will be a source of reference in the PSA. There is differentiated Level 1 and Level 2 resources as lower ability students can have subtitles and images as prompts. Students will be expected to know the job role and services listed in the spec below and be able to recognise which ones are suitable for the PSA case study person with a health condition.
