3B B4 ME Cards

3B B4 ME Cards

(0)
Bringing 3B B4 ME alive! Brilliant for developing independent learners. Use these 3B B4 ME flashcards to encourage your students to work independently and collaboratively to find solutions to their own questions. Typical use might involve distributing a number of 3B B4 ME cards to each student at the start of the lesson or activity within the lesson. The objective is for students to have all (or as many cards as possible) of their cards in their possession at the end of the lesson or activity. In order to retain their cards they must think carefully about alternative ways in which they might find an answer to their questions - i.e. they should use a book (or electronic device), their brain or a buddy (3Bs) before asking the teacher. They are permitted to ask the teacher a question, but they must forfeit (hand in) one of their cards for each question asked! This process may take a while to bed in, but it is worth the effort and perseverance. It can also be a lot of fun when presented to the class in the appropriate way and experience tells me that undoubtedly an element of competition creeps in!
