An extra task for students to practice reading and recognizing words with focused sounds from Read Write Inc. Blue Story Book 1 - Barker. Part 1: Students will *say the words in Fred Talk or read the words speedily *(depending on each student’s performance) and then underline each two- or three-letter grapheme (-tch, -ge, kn-, -ar) in each word. These words contain the focused sounds and are from this storybook. Part 2: Students will* fill in the missing words in different sentences*. These missing words are from the first part of the learning. This second part will help them use and remember vocabulary in the context of the story. On the second page of this worksheet are the answer keys.
