In this range of resources, Film Studies teachers will find activities specifically designed to introduce set texts to their learners. Focusing on key areas from the exam specifications, students will be introduced to ideas about the film, analysing selected sequences and looking at film stills. Teachers are encouraged to use these activities before, and immediately after, screening the entire film. The final slides of the PowerPoint offer extension activities and ideas about how to continue your study of this film. In this PowerPoint presentation based on Little Women, learners will investigate the the role of women during the time the original source material was written. They will also consider feminist ideology and the spectator response. All of these areas can be extended and there are suggestions for further study
