I give these to one or two children in a lesson & invite them to become the ‘Grammar Police’. You can also allow them to wear a tabard or police hat. They sneak around the room & try to find errors in their peer’s work. This has worked as a really engaging form of peer assessment at our school.

New curriculum formative assessment grids to replace APP or similar for teachers on going assessments. This will help you to establish if your children are beginning/developing/embedded or mastery. It included all of the statutory KPIs and NCDs.
