Expressions which use 'avoir' as opposed to 'etre' according to the English equivalent can be confusing for learners of French as a foreign language. This worksheet provides an exhaustive list of such expressions, followed by step by step activities which pushes students to their potential. This is a higher level version where students are asked to translate extended sentences. This activity would be ideal for students studying the IGCSE / A-Level / IB programme.
Although learning numbers are relatively easy in Chinese, it doesn't hurt to give your students a fundamental level of teaching and learning. This colouring in booklet gives an extensive range of number puzzles as well as pages and pages of colouring in. The level of this booklet is geared towards students who are becoming acquainted with numbers in Mandarin for the very first time, although the term '两' is not included. It can be introduced at a later stage.

It can be very confusing for learners of French to become accustomed as to whether agreements with reflexive verbs using a direct object is necessary.
Although it is very long, however I have designed this powerpoint to facilitate students to become acquainted that no agreement is necessary with reflexive verbs in the perfect tense that use a direct object and when no direct object is present, agreement is necessary. I have done this in step by step form by putting all the nine essential pronouns in order, first of all without a direct object and then in the next slide with a direct object, so that learners can easily understand this concept. This is ideal for learners from Key Stage 3-5 level or adults who are learning this concept for the first time or simply revision.

A useful poster that can be put up on classroom walls and displays and good revision for verbs that take etre as the auxiliary verb. It can be printed out and blown up to A3 size and then laminated!
Continual presentation focused on the formation of possessive pronouns in the feminine form. They can be tricky, therefore I devised this powerpoint in a way to facilitate learning.
Go through the slides with the students and get them to complete the missing words in the practice stage. There is a subsequent quiz and differentiated activities which reinforces the vocabulary as well as the masculine form of possessive pronouns.
This is ideal for students studying French at IGCSE, A-Level and IB level.

Worksheet based on the passive which is really useful for either IGCSE, A-Level or IB level. Students study the pronouns and the verbs and then write sentences using the passive in the past and the future. They need to pay close attention to agreement as necessary. There is support with the first few sentences to help weaker students become acquainted with the passive in a greater sense and then they attempt the remaining sentences independently.
