- où
- dont
- ce qui
- ce que

- prepositions followed by lequel/lesquels/laquelle/lesquelles
Because of the complexity of their functions, it is compiled in the theme of a story about a young shrinking boy who accidently mistook a magic potion for a drink and his parents and friend try to find him. This activity includes plenty of relative pronoun practice before reading the story, a wide range of vocabulary, multiple choice answering through the story and plenty of translation exercises after reading the story.

I spent four years creating this resource and it is now finally published!
This resource is a workbook which explores the vocabulary and grammar exclusively extracted and followed from the Cambridge IGCSE French textbook second edition (published in 2017) and most of the third edition (published in 2019). The latter may have some differences regarding the order of the contents of the book which may not appear in this resource, but it does exclusively follow the second edition. Moreover, the activities are extensively differentiated.
The contents of this resource cover all of the topics covered in the 2017 textbook, EXCEPT for ’ C6.1 - trouver son chemin’, ‘C6.2 - Ca se trouve où, sil vous plait …?’, ‘C6.3 - Pouvez-vous expliquer exactement …?’, ‘C9.1 - On se deplace’ and ‘D4.1 - Je vais leur téléphoner’.
Please do keep an eye out for the accompanied listening workbook, also extracted from the 2017 textbook edition, in which the listening activities have been modified and extensively differentiated. It will be uploaded very shortly.

This bundle consists of all four parts of the imperfect tense which is explored at Key Stage 3 and 4 level.
The imperfect tense can generally be a very challenging tense to master, however these resources fundamentally explains all of the functions of the imperfect tense.
Because the imperfect tense is so broad and very dynamic, I have devised the resources up into four parts, which are as follows:
Part 1: Avoir and Etre - Describing age and a past experience
Part 2: Regular verbs - Describing what one was doing or what was happening in the past
Part 3: Irregular verbs - Talking about habitual or repetitive actions in the past
Part 4: Reflexive verbs - Talking about simultaneous actions in the past
Each of the resources provide many examples of each of the functions in the form of stories, quizzes and follow-up activities.
Happy teaching and learning!
Do you feel your students need to revise numbers 1-20, colours, fruit and gender and agreement? Look no further, as this presentation is designed to do so.
The learning of such vocabulary is set in the theme of ‘the twelve days of Christmas’. I have titled it as ‘les vingt jours de l’été’ (The 20 days of summer) as summer is a very popular season for cultivating fruit. As you go through each slide, you sing along each slide to the very same melody, taking the necessary slow singing as you approach every fifth item. The melody changes slightly when you go through the 6th-20th days of summer as they need to have the same melody when the Christmas song sung is sung from the 6th-12th day of Christmas. You will need to change the melody to that when you come to the 6th-20th day of summer.
Also, there are quizzes of different levels and a follow-up story with more differentiated quizzes to follow. This package is designed for Key Stage 1 primary French (native French nationals/ gifted and talented students) and Key Stage 2 primary French (weaker, stronger and gifted and talented students and native French nationals are welcome also.)
This package revises the following items:
Numbers from 1-20
Ordinal numbers from 1-21
Colours
Names of fruit
Gender and agreement
Also, there are differentiated accompanying workbooks attached and the total pack is £10.

This board game is called 'Atouts des couleurs' (Colour Assets) and it is specifically designed for learners of Key Stage 2 and 3 level.
The game largely focuses on colours and gender and number agreement. You go around the board answering questions (differentiated level of questions are available) not only on colours but other areas as well such as numbers, months of the year, countries, verbs, etc, so that you can earn points and try to get a full house. Be careful not to land on your opponent's squares or houses otherwise you will owe them points. This game bares an uncanny resemblance to Monopoly but differs in some ways.
This pack consists of:
1 board game - it is best to print it off in A3 size and them laminate it
1 set of rules - both in French and in English
112 cards for lower level learners - print them in colour, laminate them and then cut them out
128 cards for higher level learners - print them in colour, laminate them and then cut them out
300 white houses to place on the squares that you win by answering questions correctly - print them, laminate them and then cut them out (I know it will be a pain cutting out 300 of them, but in the long run, it will be worth it!!)
I have enclosed a set of rules which instructs you how to play. If you any questions about the rules, don't hesitate to contact me.
Happy playing!
