Students build Maori Language Fluency, identifying Maori days months and seasons, with this no fuss 5 in a Row PowerPoint game. Students convert the Maori word to English on their playing board.This game is self running either individually, as a group, or as a whole class. Either way, students find it entertaining, engaging and fun and is ideal for Maori Language week as well as all year round. I have included 2 versions of the game with this download. One, a beginner game with the answers appearing after 5 seconds and two, an advanced game that the students need to translate the Maori language independently or in small groups. The games can run on computers, whiteboards or projectors. All that is required is that you print, cut and laminate the Playing Boards and press shuffle and then start on the PowerPoint Show. There are 30 different Playing Boards for your students to choose from and with the shuffling ability of the game, every game is different so that your students do not get bored of it. This collection of Editable New Zealand Maori themed name tags work great for the early primary school classrooms.
