This resource has a writing frame suggestion and also level criteria so that pupil's can produce a project homework, being creative and interviewing a slave about their experiences.

Pupils will use the map to learn about how the Roman Empire operated. To investigate what was the Roman Empire and how did it benefit the Romans. Uses 'Point, Evidence, Explanation' (In the form of a Dragon called 'Pee the Dragon') and is colour coded to show how to structure an answer in this way.
