All materials needed to teach this unit. Includes lots of resources made by a Spanish native speaker (biligual texts, narrow reading, the imperfect tense, sophisticated expressions, vocabulary tests, core vocab adapted for different levels, sentence builders, extensive reading, a range of speaking activities, a supporting PowerPoint with 50 slides…). This unit is suitable for groups ranging from year 7 to year 10, as it includes complex language for high ability students. The main grammar focus is on teaching the imperfect tense, although it also includes many other tenses (present, near future, preterite, conditional, present subjunctive, imperfect subjunctive). The approach behind this unit is based mainly on: comprehensible input, input enhancement, focus on form, skill theory and others. It has been extremely useful with my Year 7 - 10 groups. I hope you find it useful too!
