These resources span my career; from my period of teaching unqualified, through to an AST of English & Director of Teaching & Learning. Although my specialism is English, I have taught GCSE Citzienship, Language and Lit, Media Studies, Maths & History. I have also taught all of those at Key Stage 3, so there is an eclectic mix here. As the main trainer in my previous school, I have uploaded many insets and training session powerpoints too.

This is one of the many lessons and resources that I have uploaded for the teaching of Macbeth to year 7s working at level 4/5 in English. It's based on an end result of old SATs style type question that can be APP'd. - With this sheet, used after teaching the play, pupils choose one character and chart their behaviour through the play.

Writing a Film Review - Vocabulary Handout

This is an examplar handout of film reviews - a great lesson starter - The difficult words are picked out on the bottom of each review and I get pupils to look them up in a dictionary as the lesson settler - we then go on to analyse the techniques and structure before writing our own.
